Open-source Python framework for building voice-based LLM agents on any AI stack, backed by Y Combinator.
Vocode builds Vocode Core, an MIT-licensed framework for assembling modular voice agents, with more than 3,800 GitHub stars. A separate Vocode API manages AI agents on phone calls and comes with Python and Node.js SDKs and a React SDK. The company lists a free tier, a $25 a month Developer plan and custom Enterprise pricing, and it raised a seed round in February 2024 with Y Combinator (W23) among its backers. Y Combinator now lists the company as acquired.
