VoiceInk is a native macOS app that transcribes speech on the device and types it into most applications, with push-to-talk shortcuts, per-app modes and a personal dictionary with text replacements. It can clean up filler words, rewrite selected text, adapt output to what is on screen and save notes to a Markdown journal. Voice data stays on the Mac unless the optional Cloud Enhancement is used, which sends only the transcribed text. The code is on GitHub under GPL v3, and licenses cost $25 to $49 with lifetime updates, a free trial and a 14-day money-back guarantee. It is built by indie developer Pax and also has an iOS app.
