Automated transcription service and app for audio and video files, launched by Rev in 2017 and now being folded into Rev.
Temi gives users machine-made transcripts of video and audio files, with iOS and Android apps alongside the web service. It runs on the same automatic speech recognition system as Rev, which Rev says delivers about 90% accuracy. Temi only offers automated transcripts, while Rev adds human transcription, captions and subtitles. Its homepage now points visitors to Rev, and existing Temi files and order history can be merged into a Rev account.
