Rime builds text-to-speech and speech-to-speech foundation models for enterprise voice conversations. Founded in 2022 by linguists Lily Clifford and Brooke Larson with Ares Geovanos, the company records its own conversational data in a San Francisco studio, capturing interruptions, laughter and disfluencies. Its models offer over 600 voices in more than 50 languages with sub-100ms latency, and power nearly 100 million phone calls monthly for clients including Mayo Clinic and Dialpad. Rime raised a $24 million Series A led by M13.
