Relay builds a voice interface for macOS from Relay Voice Ltd, a London startup founded by former Nothing employees. Users press and hold a key to speak, and Relay interprets audio with screen context and memory to produce text or trigger actions. It works in any app you type into, keeps memory on device, and only records while the key is held. Relay Q, an optional modular microphone, is available to preorder with shipments planned for January 2027.
