Nia is OhMD's AI voice and text agent for physician practices, launched in May 2025 and built on Twilio's ConversationRelay. It answers routine patient calls, books and changes appointments, handles prescription refills, and sends text follow-ups from the office number. Calls that need a person are flagged and handed off to staff with full context. OhMD says more than 1,200 practices use its platform, which integrates with over 85 EHR systems.
